Star Decals 35-C1343 DDR - NVA 2. Numbers & insignia of the East German Nationale Volksarmee 1/35

Star Decals 35-C1343 DDR - NVA 2. Numbers & insignia of the East German Nationale Volksarmee 1/35 is a high-quality water slide decal set designed for modelers specializing in armored vehicles used by the National People's Army of the German Democratic Republic (DDR, Nationale Volksarmee – NVA). The decals are tailored to the 1/35 scale and are primarily dedicated to models of the T-54 and T-55 tanks, which formed the core of the DDR's armored power during the Cold War era.

This product allows for the personalization of Soviet T-54 and T-55 tank models used by the NVA from 1960-1980. Here you'll find both large tactical numbers and DDR national insignia, faithfully recreated based on archival photographs and historical documentation. The T-54 and T-55 in various variants were key elements of DDR equipment, taking part in numerous Warsaw Pact exercises and in patrolling duties along the East German border.

The decals are made with the utmost precision from a thin, flexible material that easily conforms to model surface irregularities such as welds, rivets, or panel lines. Star Decals products stand out for their printing accuracy – the colors are vibrant, the lines are sharp, and the transparent backgrounds do not yellow over time. The set includes a painting guide and placement instructions for numbers and insignia, which greatly facilitate the recreation of authentic vehicles from that period.
