Historical Data and Application:

Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) was one of the most widely produced German armored vehicles of World War II, used both as an infantry support vehicle and a tank destroyer. The Ausf. G version, which this decal set represents, was introduced in 1942 and became the main firepower of German armored units at the front, especially during the fighting on the Eastern Front against the Red Army. The characteristic paint schemes from this period allow accurate recreation of vehicles participating among others in the Battle of Kursk, the battles around Stalingrad, and later retreat operations.

Advantages and Use of Star Decals:

• Precise and realistic unit markings
• Long durability and easy application to plastic models (polystyrene, ABS, as well as painted surfaces)
• Dedicated painting schemes for early StuG III Ausf. G variants
• Assembly instructions to assist in choosing historically accurate markings

The Star Decals 16-D1011 set is recommended for both advanced modelers who value historical accuracy and intermediate hobbyists looking to increase the realism of their collection. The easy decal application gives it a difficulty rating of 2/5. Thanks to high-quality printing, vibrant colors, and a careful selection of painting variants, this is an excellent addition to any 1/16 scale StuG III model.
