Eduard EX932 Mi-8MT ZVEZDA 1/48 – Painting Masks

Eduard EX932 is a set of high-quality masks dedicated to the Mi-8MT helicopter model in 1/48 scale by ZVEZDA. This product has been precisely designed specifically for this model, ensuring perfect fit and ease of use. The EX932 mask was created by the renowned Czech company Eduard – one of the most respected manufacturers of modeling accessories in the world.

The Mi-8MT, also known as the Mi-17 in its export version, is a legendary Soviet transport helicopter that entered service in the 1970s, during the Cold War era. At that time, the Soviet Union made wide use of these machines in both military and civilian operations. The Mi-8MT participated in numerous armed conflicts, such as the war in Afghanistan, numerous UN missions, and actions in Eastern Europe. To this day, it is used by over 50 countries worldwide, making it one of the most popular helicopters in aviation history.

Eduard EX932 masks are made from thin yet strong and flexible vinyl foil – a material that ensures an ideal fit to the model surface. Their main purpose is to protect canopy windows and selected fuselage elements during painting. The use of the masks allows you to achieve sharp, clean separation lines, eliminating the risk of paint seeping under the tape or the tedious work of masking shapes with complex contours by hand.
