RESKIT RS72-0366 GBU-54 (LJDAM) BOMBS THERMALLY PROTECTED (4 PCS) 1/72

RESKIT RS72-0366 is a high-quality set of four GBU-54 (LJDAM) bombs in the thermally protected version, precisely crafted in 1/72 scale. The product belongs to the "resin upgrade model" category, designed as an upgrade for modern military aircraft model kits. The LJDAM bombs are an advanced type of armament, part of the famous JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) family, used by the United States Air Force and NATO countries.

The GBU-54 is a laser-guided aerial bomb, introduced into service by the USAF in 2008. Its greatest advantage is the combination of GPS/INS guidance with additional laser guidance, allowing it to target both stationary and moving objects in all weather conditions. Among others, the bomb was used during operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria in the modern era, significantly increasing the effectiveness of precision airstrikes. The RESKIT model faithfully captures the outline and details of the original, featuring the thermally protected (TP) variant, which is crucial for safety on modern battlefields.

The set is made from high-grade resin, ensuring sharp detail and the absence of defects common in mass production. The components are precisely modeled—you will find four bombs in the set, including realistic details of the stabilizing fins, mounting rails, and attachment points. The kit does not include photo-etched or metal parts, making it a perfect complement to model kits of aircraft such as the F-16, F-15E, F/A-18, or Eurofighter Typhoon.
