AFV Club 35110 US Army M110 Howitzer 8 inch 203mm 1/35

AFV Club 35110 US Army M110 Howitzer 8 inch 203mm 1/35 is a high-quality plastic model kit depicting the modern American self-propelled artillery howitzer M110, with a caliber of 203 mm, in 1/35 scale. This model is dedicated to military and historical modeling enthusiasts, especially fans of self-propelled artillery from the Cold War era and modern times.

The M110 was the most powerful self-propelled howitzer in the United States Army arsenal from the 1960s until its retirement from the US Army in the early 1990s. This gun was widely used by the US armed forces during the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and also exported to many NATO countries and allied armies, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, and Iran. The howitzer served from the Cold War period to modern times as a support weapon for counter-battery fire, strategic target bombardment, and the destruction of enemy artillery positions.

The AFV Club 35110 model is a faithful replica of the self-propelled M110 howitzer, made from the highest quality plastic with great attention to detail. The set includes:

• Multi-part turret and chassis accurately replicating the original
• Movable suspension and gun elements
• Realistically reproduced details, including tools, cables, and hydraulic cylinders
• Recreated gun elevation and depression mechanism
• Clearly defined rivets, welds, and surface texture
• Decals that allow you to create different marking versions

This model is intended for intermediate and advanced modelers (build difficulty: 4/5), due to the complex chassis construction and the number of movable parts. Assembly requires the use of modeling glue and painting by hand, allowing for further personalization of the model.

The product is recommended for anyone wishing to build a realistic Cold War-era diorama, expand a collection of artillery vehicles, or enhance their modeling workshop with a professional self-propelled heavy artillery kit. Offered by the renowned AFV Club, the kit guarantees quality workmanship and satisfaction from the build.
