Fujimi 600529 SP IJN Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku (Operation Sho Ichigo/ with Carrier-Based Plane 65 Pieces) 1/350

The Fujimi 600529 SP IJN Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku model in 1/350 scale is an exceptional model kit depicting the legendary Japanese aircraft carrier from World War II – the Zuikaku. This impressive vessel was part of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and was one of the main units involved in the largest naval battles in the Pacific. The presented version of the model refers to Shō Ichigō operation, which was a major Japanese counteroffensive conducted in 1944.

• Scale: 1/350
• Country of use: Japan (IJN)
• Historical period: World War II (1939–1945)
• Material: high-quality plastic
• Set contents: Zuikaku aircraft carrier model, 65 miniature carrier-based planes, detailed assembly instructions
• Product category: plastic model kit (to assemble)

The Zuikaku was one of the two Shōkaku-class carriers, which played major roles in the battles of Pearl Harbor, Coral Sea, and Midway. The model version represents the ship's condition during the Shō Ichigō operation, a key moment in the fighting in the Philippine Sea in 1944.

The Fujimi model stands out for its excellent quality sprues and detailed features, such as the anti-slip deck surfaces, armaments, radars, and bridge elements. A major advantage of the kit is the included miniature Japanese carrier-based planes (as many as 65), allowing the recreation of a complete period carrier air group. The model does not include glue or paints – these must be purchased separately to finish the model according to individual preferences.

We recommend this kit to both advanced modelers and fans of naval history who demand a high level of detail and authenticity. Due to the large number of parts and the precision required, we rate the difficulty of assembly at 5/5. The model will serve as a striking collector's display piece.

By choosing the Fujimi 600529 SP IJN Zuikaku 1/350, you are investing in a unique historical model – a must-have in the collection of every naval enthusiast and World War II history buff!
