Armory Models AW72048 Mikoyan MiG-21 Fishbed wheels w/ weighted tires, early 1/72

Armory Models AW72048 Mikoyan MiG-21 Fishbed wheels w/ weighted tires, early 1/72 is a high-quality detail set for the MiG-21 Fishbed fighter aircraft models in 1:72 scale. This product is designed for modelers who want to enhance and increase the realism of their model by adding faithfully reproduced aircraft wheels with a realistic "weighted tires" effect, characteristic of parked aircraft on the runway.

• Scale: 1:72 – one of the most popular modeling formats, allowing for very detailed reproduction of even the smallest features.
• Historical application: The MiG-21 Fishbed is a legendary Soviet fighter used by nearly 60 countries worldwide—including the USSR, Poland, India, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, and China. The aircraft participated in numerous 20th-century armed conflicts, such as the Vietnam War, Arab conflicts in the Middle East, Indo-Pakistani wars, and has served from the mid-1950s to the present day in some regions.
• Period of use: Since the late 1950s, Cold War era, and up to the present day.
• Material: High-quality resin, providing a very high level of detail that exceeds most standard plastic sets. Resin components ensure sharp edges and realistic rendering of the tire tread and sidewall and rim details.
• Extras: The set includes a complete set of main wheels and a front wheel, all with a realistically represented "weathering" effect on the tires as well as specific details unique to early MiG-21 versions.
• Product category: Resin accessory/detailing set for scale plastic models.
• Assembly difficulty: 2/5 – the set is relatively easy to assemble, but due to small parts, we recommend using precise cutting tools and resin processing equipment.
• Recommended for: We recommend this product for both intermediate and experienced modelers looking to significantly increase the historical realism of their MiG-21 model, regardless of the base plastic kit manufacturer (e.g., Revell, Eduard, Zvezda).

Summary: Armory Models AW72048 Mikoyan MiG-21 Fishbed wheels w/ weighted tires, early 1/72 offers an impressive enhancement for the iconic Soviet fighter aircraft model. The resin kit ensures a much higher level of detail than standard plastic parts, and the "weighted" effect adds authentic appearance. An excellent choice for modelers seeking the highest quality finish for their aircraft projects.
