Armory Models ACA7250 Kh-41 (3M80) “Moskit” (SSN-22 “Sunburn”) tactical anti-ship guided missile 1/72

The resin model kit Armory Models ACA7250 Kh-41 (3M80) “Moskit” (SSN-22 “Sunburn”) is a high-quality detailed enhancement set depicting a Soviet-designed tactical anti-ship missile in precise 1/72 scale. Offered by the renowned Armory Models company, this kit is a faithful recreation of the original, known for its advanced Russian Navy technology, as well as use by other operators of this missile.

Kh-41 “Moskit” (NATO: SSN-22 “Sunburn”) is a water-to-water (anti-ship) guided missile and is one of the most advanced Soviet missiles of the Cold War era, developed in the 1970s and introduced into service in the 1980s. It was widely used by the Soviet Navy and, later, the Russian Navy, as well as by countries such as China and India. The 3M80 “Moskit” missiles have been installed on numerous corvettes, frigates, and destroyers—for example, ships of project 956 “Sovremenny,” actively used in many exercises and NATO deterrence missions.

The ACA7250 model is made from high-grade resin, ensuring excellent sharpness in reproducing even the smallest aerodynamic details, surface control fins, and air inlet. Its resin construction allows for details not achievable in plastic models, making this kit stand out in realism and accuracy of forms. The set includes small parts dedicated to realistically representing rocket mounts and guidance elements.

• Scale: 1/72
• Origin of the prototype: Russia (formerly USSR)

We recommend this set for intermediate and advanced modelers who wish to enhance the realism of their 1/72 scale aircraft, naval vessel, or maritime diorama collections. This product makes a perfect addition to models of modern warships or aircraft carrying anti-ship ordnance, such as the Su-33 or Su-34. The small part count allows for a smooth and enjoyable build but requires precision and experience working with resin.

Difficulty: 3/5. This model is recommended for modelers with basic experience in working with small, detailed resin parts.

If you're looking for a unique, highly realistic accessory for your 1/72 military collection or wish to enhance your Soviet or Russian warship model, Armory Models ACA7250 Kh-41 “Moskit” is a choice that will provide both satisfaction and an impressive final result.
