The B-29 Superfortress is a symbol of American air power at the end of World War II. This aircraft participated in the most important air operations over the Pacific, including carpet bombing raids on Japan and the historic atomic bomb missions. Designed by Boeing, it served in the United States Air Force from 1944, also playing a significant role in the early years of the Cold War.

AW48347 is a set dedicated to modelers wishing to faithfully reproduce the look of this aviation giant. The tyres are recreated with a weighted effect, reflecting the natural deformation under the aircraft's weight and adding both mass and authenticity to the model. The additional photo-etched hubcaps ensure subtle, realistic details not found in standard plastic parts.

The set is recommended for intermediate and advanced modellers (difficulty level 3/5) who expect a striking final result and are prepared to work with resin and photo-etched components. Replacing the original wheels with Armory parts will significantly improve the realism and uniqueness of your B-29 Superfortress. It is an ideal choice both for dioramas and for standalone model displays.
