The F-104C Starfighter was one of the most advanced aircraft of its time, designed by Lockheed with speed and maneuverability in mind. Thanks to its lightweight construction and efficient aerodynamics, the aircraft reached impressive speeds and was used as an air superiority fighter as well as an effective fighter-bomber. The F-104C variant participated in combat operations over Vietnam, providing support for US forces by flying escort missions, ground target bombings, and engaging in air combat.

The Academy 12576 USAF F-104C kit consists of precisely molded plastic parts, guaranteeing high detail and excellent build quality. The set includes detailed decals with markings used during the Vietnam War, authentically reflecting the paint schemes of USAF aircraft from that period.
