Historical Description and Usage

The MiG-21 is one of the most recognizable fighter aircraft of the Cold War era, widely used by the Soviet Air Forces, Warsaw Pact countries, and numerous other nations worldwide. The MiG-21 saw service in numerous armed conflicts—from the Vietnam War (1960s) to local conflicts in Africa and the Middle East. Radio altimeters were an integral part of the MiG-21's equipment, allowing pilots to precisely measure height above ground level, which was crucial for low-altitude flight during both combat missions and training operations.

Set Features

• Highly accurate replication of radio altitude sensor details characteristic for early MiG-21s.
• Easy assembly – the set is compatible with models by manufacturers such as Trumpeter, Revell, or Eduard in 1/32 scale.
• High-quality resin ensures sharp details and easy painting.
• The components are intended to replace or supplement original injection-molded kit parts, which are often simplified in factory models.

We especially recommend Quickboost QB32217 to demanding modelers who seek faithful reproduction of historical military aircraft in 1/32 scale. It is ideal as a realism-enhancing element for diorama projects or professional model displays.
