The P-39 Airacobra fighter is one of the most interesting designs of the American aircraft industry from World War II. Its unique layout featured the engine mounted behind the pilot. Although the aircraft didn’t perform well at high altitudes in Europe, in the Pacific region it served successfully as both a support and fighter plane, playing an important role in the battles for New Guinea, Guadalcanal, and the Solomon Islands. The aircraft from this set flew between 1942 and 1945.

The booklet contains short historical descriptions of the aircraft and their pilots, making this product ideal for both aviation history enthusiasts and demanding modellers. The decals are exceptionally thin and precise, easy to apply even for less experienced users.

Decal application difficulty rating: 1/5.
We especially recommend this set to modellers interested in recreating authentic USAAF aircraft from the Pacific front, collectors, and aviation history enthusiasts. It is an excellent source of inspiration and reference material for anyone wanting to give their model historical authenticity.
