Scale: 1/72
Country of aircraft usage: United States of America (USA)
Period of use: Cold War; particularly intense action during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1970.

The F-105F Thunderchief is a two-seat version of the legendary American fighter-bomber aircraft designed and manufactured by Republic Aviation. These aircraft achieved fame as some of the main combat planes during the Vietnam conflict, where they were used to attack heavily defended ground targets and on "Wild Weasel" missions aimed at suppressing enemy anti-aircraft installations. The F-105F, in its two-seat version, allowed for cooperation between the pilot and the electronic warfare systems operator.

The presented set consists of precisely cast resin wheels intended for self-assembly and painting. Thanks to the use of high-quality resin, the details reproducing the tire tread, wheel hub shape, and delicate inscriptions on the tire sides are markedly sharper and more realistic than standard plastic components included in model kits. This product does not contain photo-etched or metal parts, but it is an outstanding complement to any 1/72 scale F-105F model.
