The plastic model kit ICM DS3517 Mobile brigade West (Schnelle Brigade West), 1943 in 1/35 scale is a unique set dedicated to enthusiasts of World War II history and military modeling. This product is a high-quality replica of a German mobile brigade, composed, among others, of captured French vehicles and four precisely crafted Wehrmacht soldier figures.

Historical Details and Use

The Schnelle Brigade West was formed in the summer of 1943 in response to the need for rapid reinforcement of key sectors of Germany's western front during World War II. A unique feature of this unit was the extensive use of captured French equipment, including vehicles such as the Laffly V15T and converted FCM 36 tanks, rebuilt as 105 mm self-propelled guns (howitzers) and 75 mm (tank destroyers). The modernization of the equipment was carried out by the famous German Baukommando Becker office under the engineering leadership of Alfred Becker. The brigade was trained in France, remaining one of the most interesting Wehrmacht formations on the Western Front during World War II.
