Hobby Boss 80151 German Type III/IV Hybrid Chassis Tank Small Turret 1/35

Hobby Boss 80151 German Type III/IV Hybrid Chassis Tank Small Turret 1/35 is an advanced plastic model kit that replicates a unique German prototype tank from World War II in the popular 1/35 scale. This kit is designed for demanding military modelers who wish to expand their collection with lesser-known armored vehicles of the Third Reich.

The presented set depicts a hybrid of the Pz.Kpfw III/IV with a small turret – an experimental vehicle developed under the German infantry support tank modernization program. This project was developed by Krupp during 1944-1945. Ultimately, after several design and prototype phases, work on the basic version was suspended in July 1944 in favor of the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 tank destroyer. The Pz.Kpfw III/IV hybrids with small turrets therefore represent an interesting episode in the history of late-war German armored technology.

The Hobby Boss series model is characterized by impressive detail and a high number of components – the kit contains over 470 parts spread across 14 sprues, including individually assembled track links and accurately reproduced hull and turret elements, manufactured using multi-part molds. The kit also includes one photo-etched fret to help modelers achieve realistic tiny details.

  • Scale: 1/35
  • Country of use: Germany
  • Historical period: World War II (years 1944-1945)
  • Material: high-quality plastic
  • Additional components: individual track links, photo-etched details

  • Glue and paints not included – available separately
The Hobby Boss 80151 German Type III/IV Hybrid Chassis Tank Small Turret 1/35 model is recommended for experienced modelers seeking a challenging project with a unique history. Its high level of detail and advanced construction make it an excellent choice for enthusiasts of military models and German armored vehicles. The kit requires significant manual skills and patience – difficulty level 4/5.

This model is not only a modeling challenge but also a fascinating piece of history to assemble and display yourself!
