The StuH 42 Ausf. G is a 105 mm German self-propelled gun based on the hull of the popular Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G. Produced from 1942 to 1945, it was used by German infantry and artillery units, mainly on the Eastern and Western fronts. The presented Early Production version refers to the pieces produced in May–June 1943, featuring a number of modifications in hull design and armament. The StuH 42 (Sturmhaubitze 42) was an effective response to the need for fire support against fortifications and enemy personnel.

The MiniArt 35349 model stands out with its excellently recreated interior, allowing for the depiction of open hatches and exposure of the fighting compartment. Additionally, the set includes individual track links and precisely made photo-etched parts that significantly enhance the level of realism. Clear parts are included, along with a rich decal sheet enabling the recreation of up to 5 different historical vehicles.

We recommend this model to intermediate and advanced military modelers as well as collectors of armored equipment from World War II. Assembly difficulty: 4/5.
