The Panzer IV, one of the most important armored tanks of the Wehrmacht, underwent significant modernization in the Ausf. F/F2/G versions. Upgraded armor and a change to the effective KwK 40 L/43 gun made this vehicle the "backbone" of the German Panzer divisions. These variants became particularly renowned during the African campaign, where they formed the core of armored forces in engagements with Allied armies on the challenging desert terrain.

The Italeri model impresses with the authenticity of its details: realistic rendering of armor texture, turret details, tools, as well as high-quality soldier figures with equipment typical of the Afrika Korps. This allows every modeler to create an impressive battle scene. I rate the difficulty level of the kit as 3/5 – it is dedicated to intermediate and advanced modelers who appreciate both faithful detailing and the opportunity to work with figures. I especially recommend this product to historical modeling enthusiasts and those designing World War II dioramas.

The set does not include paints or glue.
