Italeri 0106 Caproni Ca. 313/314 Vintage Special Anniversary Edition 1/72

The plastic model kit Italeri 0106 Caproni Ca. 313/314 Vintage Special Anniversary Edition in 1/72 scale is an extremely valuable offering for collectors and military aviation enthusiasts. This limited set, a tribute to the manufacturer's over 60-year history, is a special numbered edition with original elements from the first release. The model represents the legendary twin-engine Caproni Ca.313/314 aircraft, which played a significant role during World War II.

The Caproni Ca.313 was a development of the Ca.310 Libeccio, designed by the Italian company Caproni at the end of the 1930s. This version stood out with two 12-cylinder Isotta Fraschini Delta RC 35 engines with 730 HP, reaching a maximum speed of 430 km/h. The metal, three-bladed variable pitch propellers ensured high flight performance. The Ca.313 and upgraded Ca.314 aircraft were mainly used by the Regia Aeronautica (Italy) for bombing, reconnaissance, convoy escort, and as torpedo bombers. They also saw service in the Swedish Air Force and the Luftwaffe (Germany). These airplanes operated mainly on the Mediterranean fronts, in North Africa, and in the Balkans during World War II (1939–1945).
