Special Hobby 48230 AH-1G Cobra ‘Over Vietnam with M-35 Gun System’ Hi-Tech Kit 1/48

Special Hobby 48230 AH-1G Cobra ‘Over Vietnam with M-35 Gun System’ Hi-Tech Kit 1/48 is a unique plastic attack helicopter model kit in the popular 1/48 scale, aimed at experienced modelers seeking top-quality details and authenticity. The AH-1G Cobra is an American combat helicopter specially designed for attacking ground targets; it made its combat debut during the Vietnam War in 1967. This kit replicates the legendary design used mainly by the United States Armed Forces and exported to several other countries, including the Israeli Air Force and the Spanish Navy.

The AH-1G Cobra was widely used during the Vietnam conflict (period: Vietnam War, 1967-1975) and became an icon of aerial fire support on the battlefield. The M-35 Gun System significantly enhanced its combat effectiveness. The Hi-Tech version of this model offers a unique opportunity to build one of four authentic examples with historical markings – each marking features an individual name (two machines have impressive "shark mouth" nose art), which further increases the product's appeal.
