The Lockheed P-38J Lightning is one of the most recognizable Allied fighters of World War II, widely used during operations in the Pacific, Europe, and North Africa. It was renowned for its unique twin-boom design and excellent versatility – serving as an interceptor, escort fighter, as well as a strike or reconnaissance platform. The aircraft’s undercarriage legs are susceptible to damage when the model is displayed for an extended period or during transportation, requiring solid reinforcement. That’s why the Eduard bronze set is a perfect upgrade for every P-38J model.

The kit includes 3 bronze undercarriage parts and 1 resin component that fit perfectly with the Tamiya plastic model – the set does not include photo-etched parts, masks, or decals, focusing entirely on the quality and detail of the undercarriage legs.

Why choose Eduard 648784? This set is especially recommended for advanced and intermediate modelers (difficulty level: 3/5) who seek a robust and realistic undercarriage finish for their Lightning model. It also ensures the stability of the whole model, which is invaluable when presenting it on bases, dioramas, or exhibitions. The functional and durable bronze components eliminate the risk of damage common to original plastic landing gear legs.

By choosing Eduard 648784 P-38J undercarriage legs BRONZE TAMIYA 1/48, you’re investing in durability, precision, and historical fidelity for your model!
