Kovozavody Prostejov KPM0337 Henschel Hs 126B-1 "Mediterranean" 1/72

Kovozavody Prostejov KPM0337 Henschel Hs 126B-1 “Mediterranean” 1/72 is a high-quality plastic model kit representing the German two-seat reconnaissance aircraft from World War II in 1/72 scale. This model faithfully captures the construction details of the Henschel Hs 126B-1, which was valued by the Luftwaffe for its excellent short take-off and landing capabilities, making it ideal for reconnaissance missions and close cooperation with ground forces on the fronts of Europe and North Africa.

The Henschel Hs 126B-1 aircraft entered service at the end of the 1930s. Germany used it extensively during campaigns in Poland, France, Greece, the Balkans, as well as during operations in North Africa—hence the characteristic “Mediterranean” designation. It was operated until the early 1940s, when it was replaced by more modern aircraft such as the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch and the Focke-Wulf Fw 189. The final production ended in January 1942, with a total of 913 units produced, including 476 directly by the Henschel company.

The KPM0337 model is made of high-quality plastic and stands out as a highly detailed plastic model kit. The kit does not include glue, paints, or additional parts like photo-etched sheets or resin components. However, you will find excellently reproduced details of the fuselage structure, wings, and cockpit interior, allowing modelers to achieve a very realistic final effect.
