The offered model represents the B-1 version – one of the most widely used modifications, powered by a 9-cylinder Bramo Fafnir 323A-1 radial engine. The Henschel Hs 126 was developed in response to the German Luftwaffe’s demand for a close reconnaissance aircraft, ideal for cooperation with ground forces. The prototype’s maiden flight took place in 1936, and serial production started in 1938. A total of 913 units were manufactured, of which 476 were produced at Henschel’s factories.

Hs 126B-1 aircraft were used intensively during the invasion of Poland in 1939, as well as in the campaigns in France, the Balkans, and on the Eastern Front. Their exceptional STOL (short take-off and landing) abilities made them perfect for working in difficult front-line conditions.
