Special Armour 35007 VW type 825 "Pick Up" 1/35 — plastic model kit

The Special Armour 35007 VW type 825 "Pick Up" in 1/35 scale is an advanced assembly kit designed for military modelling enthusiasts. This detailed plastic model faithfully recreates the VW Type 825, a light utility vehicle based on the famous Volkswagen Kübelwagen chassis, used primarily by Germany during World War II.

History and Use of the VW Type 825 "Pick Up" Vehicle

The VW Type 825 "Pick Up" is a less common version of the off-road vehicle, used mainly by the German army (Wehrmacht) from 1941 until the end of the war. It was a transport variant designed for carrying supplies, equipment parts or field cargo, radio operators, medical materials, and as a light vehicle for technical services. Thanks to its simple yet robust construction, the vehicle could be used in demanding front conditions, for example, during the North African campaign with the Afrika Korps units or on the Eastern Front. It was known for its lightness, low fuel consumption, and the very distinctive appearance of its open loading bed.
