I Love Kit 67201 Russian OSA Class Missile Boat OSA1 1/72

Category: Plastic model kit

The OSA Class Missile Boat OSA1 model in 1/72 scale is a high-quality kit from I Love Kit, designed for self-assembly and painting. The OSA I is a Soviet class of missile boats that entered service in the 1960s and became some of the most recognizable combat vessels of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The model depicts a full-scale replica of the Project 205 missile boat (OSA I) used by the USSR Navy as well as the fleets of many other Eastern Bloc countries and developing nations around the world. These boats were widely used in patrol and offensive missions and took part in various local conflicts – a well-known example of combat use was the action of Egyptian OSA I units during the Yom Kippur War in 1973, where P-15 Termit anti-ship missiles were successfully used.

The set is made from high-quality plastic and impresses with detailed reproduction of the hull, superstructures, and armament. The manufacturer ensured precise recreation of the missile launcher elements, radars, deck weaponry, and the characteristic lines of a modern Soviet unit. The 1/72 scale means that the assembled model looks impressive – it is perfect for display on a collector’s shelf as well as maritime dioramas.

Technical details of the model:

• Plastic missile boat model kit for assembly
• Finely rendered details – antennas, radar, missile launchers
