The Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger was the heaviest serially produced tank destroyer ever fielded by the German army during World War II. Developed to engage heavy armored vehicles at long distances, it was famous for its powerful 128 mm main gun. Jagdtigers saw action primarily on the Western Front, such as during the fighting in the Ardennes or the defense of Germany in 1945.
